Notes on tying:

1. Lay down a thread base at hook bend. Wrap two turns of strip lead near rear of fly. Cover with thread and coat with Flexament.
2. Tie in short tail of marabou to hide lead strips.
3. Spin on deer hair to hook eye. Trim so head tapers back to tail.
4. Attach large doll eyes with goop.

This bass pattern is based on a "Topwater Spook" The fly hangs tail down in the water at rest. Short strips with pauses, causes the fly to dip and bob much like "walking the dog" style of fishing a spook.
