Notes on tying:

1. Dub back 2/3 of hook shank with raccoon or Australian opossum fur.
2. Add lacquer mottled turkey wing (Make as wide as hook gap and fold in half over back of body dull side up).
3. Trim off turkey wing in back at about a 45 degree angle.  Trim any excess wing that is in front.
4. Wrap brown hackle in front.
5.  Tie off and finish.

 This is a pattern Mike Jacobs demonstrated in his fly tying class.  It is listed in many fly pattern guides.  It works well when this fly is cast up stream and dead drifted back.
