Notes on tying:
1. Dubb body with brown rabbit fur.
2. Palmer body with brown hackle.
3. Tie in wing of brown quail feather or any brown mottled game
bird such as a grouse or partridge the length of the hook shank.
4. Add pheasant tail fibers for antenna.
5. Finish head.
This is an adaptation of the King's River Caddis. Mike Hogue modified this fly from the original pattern because he found quills are difficult to work with. For a higher floating fly add 2 CDC tips before tying in quail feather.
