Notes on tying:
1. Tie in lemon wood duck fibers for wings, upright and divided.
2 Tie in dark cream hackle feathers for the tail (Same length
as hook shank).
3. Dub the body with cream colored fur up to space for the wings.
4. Wrap cream colored hackle throught the wings.
5. Tie off and whip finish head.
The Cahill is a "Catskill" pattern that was originally tied by Daniel Cahill from New York state around 1880. It imitates a variety of mayflies that are found in the midwest.
