Notes on tying:
1. Tie in hackle.
2. Spin deer hair full length of hook shank.
3. Trim hair to cigar shape.
4. Palmer hackle about 5 turns.
5. Tie off.
This is a fly found hanging in a tree by Jack Nochel's on Timber Coulee. It works well when fished dead drift on the surface.
