Notes on tying:

1. Coat hook shank with flexament before wrapping herl to make a more durable fly.
2. Wrap a grizzly hackle just above the bend of the hook shank.
3. Wrap the hook shank with peacock herl for the body.
4.  Wrap a second grizzly hackle just behind the hook eye.
5. Whip finish.

 This pattern is listed in Jimmy Carter's Fishing and Hunting Book.  He said you could aways count on it to catch something.  Fish this fly dead drift.
