Notes on tying:
1. Tie in white calf tail hair upright and divided.
2. Tie in deer hair for tail.
3 Tie in and wrap with peacock herl on the base of the butt, add
a center band with red floss and then add more peacock herl up
to the wings.
4. Wrap brown hackle starting behind and then in front of calf
tail.
5. Tie off with whip finish.
The Royal Wulff was developed by Lee Wulff in the 1930's by modifying the Royal Coachman with hair wings. Fish this fly dry using a dead drift float.
