Notes on tying:
1. Tie in dun hackle fibers for the tail.
2. Dub the body.
3. Tie hackle in before wings.
4. Add the deer hair for the wings.
5. Finish the head.
This is a pattern that was in the June 1988 Fly Fisherman. The hair wing has an advantage for its durability and ease of tying. It is best fished with a dead drift
