Notes on tying:
1. Heavily weight hook.
2. For tail cut 2 black goose biots and tie them convex to convex
side.
3. Tie in rib and wrap floss abdomen 1/2 way up hook shank.
4. Rib with about 5 turns of ostrich herl.
5. Tie in gray goose quill segment and red mohlon for gill.
6. Dub thorax with black dubbing.
7. Pull gill to front and tie off. Then palmer hackle and
clip on top.
8. Pull wing case forward and tie off.
9. Add biot legs on either side at head (convex side of biot next
to fly).
10. Build head and finish off.
Another Doug Prince creation used for trout, and smallmouth bass. This pattern can be fished using a dead drift or "dapping" or a jigging action.
