Notes on tying:
1. Add 6-8 wraps of 0.020 lead wire.
2. Tie in short orange hackle fiber for tail.
3. Tie in 10-12 strands of either gold, silver, pearl or orange
flashabou or krystal flash, then add copper wire.
4. Dub either #26 or #40 ligas with a fairly heavy body to front
of hook.
5. Pull shell back forward and tie off.
6. Rib with copper wire.
7. Build head and whip finish and cement.
8. Take dubbing needle and pick out ligas fibers to simulate legs.
This is an effective scud pattern. This is heavily weighted and is fished right on the bottom dead drift. Because of its tri-lobular characteristics, it traps air bubbles and gives a "Halo" effect.
