Notes on tying:
1. Wrap lead wire on hook.
2. Tie in hackle fibers for tail.
3. Dub body with red fox squirrel with the guard hairs.
4. Tie in latex strip for shell back at the head of fly and pull
back over back of the body let extend 1/8 inch past the end of
the fly.
5. Rib body with cream thread.
8. Finish head.
This is a pattern works well in Spring Branch and other small streams for trout. This is weighted and fished dead drift near the bottom.
