Notes on tying:
1. Tie tail equal to hook shank length.
2. Tie in rib and dub body. Use plenty of wax as goat hair
is very coarse.
4. Rib body.
5. Tie in wing and hackle.
6. When finishing head wind it back against the hackle.
Mike Hogue developed this fly using goat hair which does a good job of imitating seal. This gives the fly a bright yellow color that the fish seem to like. Cast it out and strip it back for bluegill, crappie and trout.
