Notes on tying:
1. Tie fluorescent orange chenille into a ball on the back 1/3
of the hook.
2. Make several wraps of flat silver tinsel in front of the chenille
on the middle 1/3 of hook.
3. Tie fluorescent orange chenille into a second ball on the front
1/3 of the hook.
4. Tie in white marabou for a wing.
5. Tie off and whip finish.
This is a popular salmon fly in Michigan. This pattern is listed in American Fly Tying Manual by Dave Hughes. It is use to for both steelhead and Salmon by fishing it drift in the current.
