| Body: | Glo-Bug Yarn | |
| Wing: | Glo-Bug Yarn | |
Notes on tying:
1. Tie a ball of red or orange glo-bug yarn to the center of the
hook.
2. Make several wraps in front and back of the yarn.
3. Tie pink or peach glo bug yarn in front collar style.
4. Trim yarn and pull back so it extends over the small ball of
yarn.
5. Tie off and whip finish.
This pattern was described in an article on "A Better Glo-Bug" by Tom Rosenbaurer in American Angler and Fly Tyer Spring 1989. It is a good fly for both salmon and steelhead by adding weight and letting drift along the bottom in the current.
