Notes on tying:
1. Tie red thread at base of hook past the bend as a tag.
2. Attach silver tinsel at the hook bend and wrap to the hook
eye.
3. Tie sparse bucktail as overwing.
4. Tie a red thread head.
This is a pattern shown to me by a friend that works well on smallmouth bass. When this fly is fished unweighted, it gets the best results.
