Notes on tying:
1. Punch out body 1/4 inch long from a piece of foam using leather punch.
2. Tie foam on the hook 2/3 for body and 1/3 for head.
3. Tie in hackle for legs (1&1/2 length of hook gap).
4. Whip finish behind the eye.
5. Color with marking pen.
This is a variation of an ant pattern useed for trout. It works well when it is caste up stream and let drift back.
