|Body:||Green Deer Hair|
Notes on tying:
1. Tie deer hair 2/3 of the way up the hook with tips forward, secure, and then pull back to form a bullet head (thundercreek style).
2. Wrap the hair past the end of the hook to make an extended body.
3. Tie on egg yarn on the back of the fly for greater visibility (optional).
4. Tie off and coat with head cement.
This is a pattern used in Michigan when there are a lot larva in the trees along the stream. Fish this fly dead drift in the surface film of subsurface with no floatant.
