Notes on tying:
1. Tie in moose mane 1/2 of the way back on the hook. Fan it out and tie in a X form with about 3 legs on each side.
2. Tie foam body on at the bend in the hook.
3. Tie in 1/3 hook length behind the eye to make body and then again just behind the eye for the head.
This is a pattern that Mike Jacobs demonstrated in his fly tying class that works well on panfish. It works well by casting it out and let it sit on the surface of the water. If there is no action, twitch it back.
