Notes on tying:
1. Dub body fur.
2. Palmer wrap black hackle around the body and trim top and bottom
before tying in wings.
3. Tie in wings of two ringneck pheasant feathers that have been
lacquered with Dave's Flexament. Strip the remaining stems
for use as antennae.
4. Finish head.
5. Use black marker to darken antennae.
This pattern is from Trout by E. Schwiebert. Note that the white winged variations also are very effective for trout and bluegill. Cast it up tight against the banks and let it dead drift back. This fly works well late in the season during August and September.
