|Thread:||Flymaster 6/0 Olive|
|Tail:||Bright Red Goose Shoulder|
|Body:||Olive Australian Opossum|
|Rib:||Fine Copper Wire|
|Wing:||Sparse Olive Antron, Z-lon Or Poly Yarn|
Notes on tying:
1. Tie in red tail.
2. Dub body with opossum.
3. Tie in the wing of dubbing material which is teased out and tied as a single wing.
4. Build head and finish.
This pattern was developed by Mike Hogue when he saw that the action of a antron wing and a red tail seemed to be the right combination for panfish. This fly should be fished wet using a slow retrieve with stripping action of 1 to 2 inches of line.
