Featured Presenters:
Landon Rainbow Trout
Landon Mayer [bio]

Landon Mayer’s angling success is fueled by an addiction to pursuing large trout with small flies and lightweight fly-fishing equipment. Mayer enthusiastically teaches and demonstrates his techniques and on-river knowledge to fellow anglers and has developed innovative strategies for sighting, hooking, and landing selective trout. He shares these tips and secrets in his several books, DVDs, articles, guided trips, and presentations. Landon will be presenting Friday evening on “Successful Seasons: Techniques for Catching Large Trout all Year,” then Saturday on “Trout Tips: Secrets & Tactics for Selective Trout,” “Mayer’s Guide Flies: Quick Step Umpqua Ties That Catch Fish,” and this year’s banquet program “Colorado’s Best Fly Fishing”. He will also be a featured demonstration fly tier.

Kip Vieth [bio]

Kip Vieth is an award-winning guide for smallmouth bass, musky, and trout in the Upper Midwest, conservationist and fisheries advocate,  author of numerous articles on fly fishing, and innovative fly tier. He’ll be presenting Friday night on “The Mississippi River: the Nation’s Greatest Warm Water Fishery,” then Saturday on “Minnesota on the Fly,” and “The Seasons of River Smallmouth,” in addition to participating as a featured demonstration fly tier.
